Where will I be teaching my Shibori/Indigo techniques?
I have had numerous people ask where they can take my classes so I decided it was time to point everyone in the right direction. Click on the calendar button on Tiori Designs to see where I will be teaching. There are several one day classes for quilt guilds and I also have several multi-day classes scheduled. Registration for some of the multi day classes in 2022 are not on the venue websites yet. I have listed the dates so you can plan ahead. |
The image above is a small sampling of what I teach in my classes. When we have several days together we can produce some beautiful work by stitching and wrapping as well as folding and clamping. The good news is I have several multi day classes on my schedule for this year and 2022. September 16-19, 2021 I will be teaching at the Main House at Creations of Kerrville, Texas for three and a half days. Kathy and Julie have a beautiful shop and a fabulous retreat house. I have several students who have come more than once to learn and play in the indigo. Call 830-896-8088 TX 78028 September 30, October 1 & 2, 2021 is my second multi day class at Stitchology in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The weather will be perfect for autumn dyeing out of doors. We will dye on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Then on Sunday you can see the Balloons at the annual Balloon Fiesta. This will be the perfect fall get-a- way! November 1-7, 2021 I will be at Primitive Gatherings’ new Retreat Center in Larsen, Wisconsin. Lisa Bongean is a fellow Moda Designer and she has invited me to be one of her first guest teachers at her brand new retreat center. I am so excited and you will be too. The week will be divided into a one day class followed by a three day class followed by another one day class. You could come for the entire week. Call 920-722-7233 for more information. April 29 - May 1, 2022 I will be at Quilting Foxes Quilt Shop May 30 - June 6, 2022 I will be teaching at Sanborn Mills Farm in Loudon, New Hampshire for one week of Shibori/Indigo followed by an optional week of piecing the fabrics you have made to make a quilt, home dec item or garment. This will be the first year for the dye studio to be open and it will be a great venue. I can hardly wait. I will have more information coming soon. July 31- August 6 at John C Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, North Carolina will be a week long shibori/indigo class followed by an optional quilting class. Registration and more information will be coming soon. Contact me if you have or know of a great venue for me to teach. debbie@debbiemaddy.com |
