100% Handwoven Eri silk scarf/shawl blank. Approximately 23" X 78". This scarf/shawl is woven with a light, smooth, and soft texture.

Eri silk is also known as Peace silk because the worm is allowed to emerge safely from it's cocoon.

The natural matte finish is perfect for natural dyes, indigo, or botanical printing. The short fringe is great for rolling for botanical printing.

Best if lightly scoured or washed with Orvis paste before dyeing.
